Tim Lonchar graduated from the Ohio State University in the Spring of 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering w/ Computer Option.  He retired from the Intel Corporation in June of 2016 after 32 years of experience in the field of Quality & Reliability Engineering covering microcontroller, microprocessor, and network processor products, silicon wafer manufacturing and technology, and package assembly supplier materials.  Since retiring from the Intel Corporation, he has created and taught electricity, robotics, and computer science courses for the Arizona/Maricopa County 4-H Youth Development Organization.  He designed 4-H’s LEGO Robotics Competition held at the University of Arizona in 2024.  He regularly volunteers at the Arizona Science Lab teaching hands-on STEM project-based workshops.  And he is currently teaching three LEGO Robotics classes for students in 2nd-7th grades at the PATH Collective Gilbert Home School.  Finally, he is active in volunteering at Sun Valley Community Church supporting their Audio/Visual Technology Ministry.

Ken Yee

Ken Yee is a semiconductor engineering professional with over 30 years of experience.  He started as a wafer fab quality control engineer with Fairchild Semiconductor.  He then went to Intel and worked in Quality and Reliability (Q&R) for the next 32 years until he retired.  While at Intel, he was in the Assembly Test Development Q&R group for 21 years, rising from an engineer to managing the Chandler Q&R Engineering Group.  During his tenure there, he was part of the team that developed, qualified, and implemented an organic IC packaging system that revolutionized electronic packaging.  He and his team were recognized with Intel's highest award, the Intel Achievement Award for their accomplishment.  He then transitioned and became the Global Assembly Materials Q&R Engineering Manager for the next 11 years until his retirement.  While at Intel, Ken became involved with ASL and would bring teams of engineers and technicians quarterly as team building events to help with ASL workshops.  He has been affiliated with ASL for over 20 years.  During retirement, he became a contractor for SpaceX, conducting ISO process audits of their avionics suppliers to help qualify the Dragon Capsule for human space flight.  Ken's passion for STEM education continued as he became an AmeriCorps intern for Maricopa County 4-H, where he taught STEM classes.  After terming out of AmeriCorps, he continues to volunteer teach Underwater Robotics classes for 4-H and volunteers at the annual Arizona Regional Underwater Robotics Competition at the University of Arizona.  Ken has a B.S.ChE, and an MBA.
