Donate to the Arizona Science Lab
The Arizona Science Lab (ASL) is a 100% volunteer run organization operating under the management of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a professional engineering society. ASL volunteers are retired and practicing engineers, scientists and other professionals who create exciting STEM based workshops for students in Grades 4-8. These workshops stimulate the students’ interest in STEM subjects, and inspire them to pursue studies and future careers in STEM-related subjects.
ASL receives some support from IEEE, and also receives donations resulting from our Intel retiree volunteers, via the Intel Involved Volunteer Matching program. We also participate in the APS Community Service Fund. However, we do have a great need for operating funds to pay for our facility rental fees, demonstration equipment, student experiments, and disposable supplies used in the workshop projects.
